Grandstream Networks gets ShoreTel Validation
By Meenakshi Shankar, TMCnet Contributor
To effectively reach out to customers and to match up with their unique demands in what in most cases are complex and heterogeneous environments vendor partnering is critical. Giving partners peace of mind through validation of interoperability by the partners when their solutions are integrated is also very important. It is with this in mind that news that Grandstream Networks, a manufacturer of IP voice/video telephony and video surveillance solutions, has received validation from IP communications solutions provider ShoreTel is good news for their customers.
Grandstream’s high density analog VoIP gateways for SMBs and ATA solutions for businesses and remote workers in combination with the ShoreTel Innovation Network are aimed at enabling businesses to migrate to a ShoreTel Unified Communications (News - Alert) IP-based infrastructure while preserving their investment in existing analog devices.
“We’re excited to announce our partnership with ShoreTel (News - Alert) and to be a new member of their Innovation Network, offering UC communication solutions to the marketplace,” commented David Li, chief executive officer of Grandstream Networks (News - Alert).
“Our cost-effective ATAs and gateways provide ShoreTel IP telephone service providers and resellers with an advanced, highly secure and easily managed VoIP access device for helping their customers to scale business growth and protect analog device investment,” Li added.
Grandstream solutions that passed rigorous testing with ShoreTel include the HT50x and HT70x FXO/FXS series of ATAs and the GXW400x and GXW42xx FXS series of gateways. Grandstream GXW400x gateways are ideal for businesses wanting to connect one or more lines of a traditional PBX (News - Alert) to a VoIP phone system or provider. The GXW42xx FXS series gateways, available in 16, 24, 32 and 48 ports are used in handling high volume voice calls. The HT50x and HT70x series of ATAs are for road warriors, enabling them rich telephony functionality, compactness and affordability.
This validation extends the capabilities of ShoreTel’s solution by enabling SMBs, home office, remote workers and road warriors to integrate analog equipment into VoIP Network. Assurance is also given to end users for a transparent office environment irrespective of the location and the type of analog device used.
