Voxbeam, a provider foofr international wholesale VoIP termination, has announced that its customers can now buy DIDs (direct inward dialing) in Algeria, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Liechtenstein, Malaysia, Russia, Thailand, Turkey, the Ukraine and Venezuela.
DID is a local geographic or national telephone number typically used to provide access for customers from a regular land-line to non-PSTN destinations such as VoIP. Voxbeam delivers calls in Session Initiation Protocol (News - Alert) (SIP), which make their DIDs easy to integrate with any voice platform or application.
The company has also extended its coverage in present countries such as Argentina, Australia, Chile, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Georgia, Israel, Mexico, New Zealand and Peru.
The CEO of Voxbeam, Paul Cusack, said, “We are delighted to be adding new locations and hope these provide new business opportunities for our customers.”
Just recently, Voxbeam introduced a customer interface for ordering international DIDs. The new design allows users to manage their DIDs directly from their account in addition to being able to order the numbers. This management includes the ability to allocate channels to a particular DID, edit a SIP endpoint URI, and build trunk groups for numbers.
In addition, the company recently updated the design for its website, which offers improved navigation and functionality. Voxbeam website design allows users to access more information about their account than was previously available.
Apart from this, users are also allowed to view their ASR and ACD for the past 24-hours to monitor quality, see capacity usage graphs for channels used in the past week and month, and access contact details for their dedicated account manager. Additionally, a user now has access to the functionality of grouping CDRs (call detail records), selecting a default route for their calls, and setting their own threshold for a low balance notification.
