Patton Names Run Communications as New VoIP Gateway Distributor in Canada
By Ashok Bindra, TMCnet Contributor
Patton (News - Alert) Electronics has announced Run Communications as a new distributor in Canada, broadening Run’s portfolio of telephony solutions for integrators, resellers, Telcos and ISPs. In fact, according to Run, Patton complements Run’s existing partners such as 3CX and Yealink (News - Alert) to create reasonably-priced, scalable and supported solutions for its client base.
In a statement, Ryan Mayoff, vice president of Run Communications, said, “Patton brings together a great family of scalable solutions for our resellers. Not only does Patton’s SmartNode Gateway (News - Alert) fill an important space in our portfolio, it also complements our existing partners.”
Patton’s SmartNode products offer the Canadian market a full line of Enterprise-grade Gateways, providing 1 to 32 FXS/FXO and 1 or 4 PRI models with options for built-in IP makerrouting and transcoding.
Patton provides free lifetime technical support during business hours for every product sold, including free downloadable software upgrades for the life of the product. The supplier also provides seamless integration with 3CX.
SmartNode configurations are built into the 3CX phone system.
Patton also boasts equipment that is “made in the USA.” Consequently, the SmartNode Gateways are rock solid.
“Set it up. Forget about it. It just keeps working!” asserts Patton.
In another statement, Steve Dobrzanski, director of business development for VoIP at Run Communications, stated, “We highly recommend Patton’s SmartNode gateways.” “For some reason, Patton deals better with this issue than the other gateways. They are extremely reliable,” noted Dobrzanski.
As part of this deal, Patton and Run Communications will be hosting a webinar on Tuesday. Joined by 3CX and YeaLink, the webinar will explain how to provide customers with a smooth migration from a traditional PBX (News - Alert) to an IP-based 3CX Phone System.
“Appointing Run Communications as a distribution partner demonstrates Patton’s intent to build market share in Canada,” said Sean Gerrity, Patton’s regional director North America. “Run’s proven knowledge and experience qualifies them to promote Patton’s SmartNode, BODi rS and CopperLink solutions throughout the Canadian telecommunications and security markets.”
