By Carolyn J Dawson, TMCnet Contributor
Pakistan Telecommunications Company Limited (PTCL) has unveiled a “Jadoo Box (News - Alert),” specifically for its new broadband customers. The box is available at no extra cost for new customers choosing an internet connection of minimum 2Mbps.
Uninterrupted connectivity will be offered by Jadoo Box, the multi-use incorporated offering. The box utilizes wired DSL as a main connection and wireless as the secondary connection.
The organization aims to offer connectivity for PSTN, Broadband and Wireless Broadband through this device.
Dual connectivity configuration has been developed inside this pioneering device, satisfying the continuous connectivity requirements of PTCL's Landline, Broadband and Wireless Broadband customers. DSL broadband customers of PTCL will be offered DSL + EVO or Nitro as their broadband connection with DSL. Customers can now utilize DSL as their main internet connection with Jadoo Box.
In the event of DSL going down or out of service, they can shift to EVO service.
PTCL customers can therefore experience flawless browsing and downloading all day and night on the major broadband network in Pakistan with Jadoo Box.
PTCL’s latest offering provides the Jadoo Box device at no extra cost to new customers, availing an Internet connection of at least 2 Mbps. Customers embracing Web speeds below 2 Mbps can purchase the Jadoo Box device by paying around $10.26.
