As Patton (News - Alert) is venturing into the world of carrier core, edge, and peer network infrastructure, as well as large enterprises and call centers, its team has been a busy one. With the recent launch of the SmartNode 10200 VoIP media gateway series for large enterprise call centers and carriers, the company enjoyed a well-timed announcement at ITEXPO (News - Alert) East 2012 in Miami earlier this month.
Now, having added the high-capacity solution to expand its portfolio beyond its former 2-to-120 call range, Patton is conducting an important webinar on February 28 at 9 a.m. ET and 10 p.m. ET on the details of the new series. The new VoIP SmartMedia Gateways offer 512 to 2,048 voice channels with options for 16 to 64 T1/E1, 1 to 3 DS3, or 1 STM-1 in a 2U chassis. The webinar will explore how to launch the new series for interested parties.
In a special pre-ordering offer, Patton is offering up a discount of 10 percent below Tier 1 pricing through March 15. The details are to be issued during the webinar for those interested in the features, applications, and roadmap of the SmartNode 10200 series.
Burt Patton, executive vice president for the company, recently noted, “The global network is still converging. Although legacy equipment is aging, it provides reliable service. Traditional PSTNs still generate revenues and profits. Carriers need classic TDM and advanced IP networks to interconnect and interoperate, and our SmartNode 10200 is the industry’s most reliable—and cost-effective—solution.”
A data sheet is also available for those who want to check out more about the series in a visual sense. The Media Gateway (News - Alert) is a key component for applications at the Carrier operational level, and the webinar will explore more about how businesses can take advantage of the new features and improvements made to Patton’s renowned solutions.
The company has already been acclaimed for its solutions, having recently won the INTERNET TELEPHONY 2011 Product of the Year award, maintaining a seven-year winning streak for the VoIP-equipment brand.
