By John Lahtinen, Community Development Editor, TMCnet

M5 Networks, a New York City-based provider of managed, hosted business Voice over IP (VoIP) solutions, has announced the appointment of software-as-a-service (SaaS (News - Alert)) industry veteran Keith Nealon as its new chief revenue officer. Nealon, who brings nearly 20 years of industry experience with him, will be responsible for M5’s direct and channel sales, as well as its marketing and customer success organizations.

“Keith Nealon brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the industry to our executive team,” said Dan Hoffman (News - Alert), CEO of M5 Networks. “We are certain that our sales and marketing teams will benefit greatly from his insights and leadership.”

Nealon, who co-founded and served as CEO of award-winning Nebula Technologies, has been very successful in previous positions at growing companies to market leadership positions, according to a press release.

“I have been extremely impressed with M5’s cloud-based communications technology,” Nealon said.  ”The leadership’s commitment to quality, reliability, and customer service is unparalleled in the industry, and has understandably fueled their impressive growth as a business. I am excited to join the M5 team and look forward to playing an important role as we continue our mission to help companies optimize their businesses with our voice-as-a-service platform.”

Prior to a stint with Eloqua (News - Alert), Nealon held sales leadership positions at Navisite, Inc., helping to increase the company’s revenues from $30 million to $125 million in three years prior to its acquisition by Time Warner (News - Alert) Cable.
