VoIP Equipment Company VoIP Supply Reflects on 2011

By Carrie Schmelkin, TMCnet Web Editor

VoIP equipment has certainly taken the telecom world by storm this year and one company that was positioned to lead this tidal wave was VoIP Supply, North America's leading VoIP solutions provider.

2011 was a milestone year for the VoIP equipment company, starting off with the fact that in January VoIP Supply moved to its newly purchased 20,000-square-foot headquarters in Buffalo, N.Y. Add to that the fact that VoIP Supply was named the 2010 Vendor Supplier of the Year by TMC (News - Alert), that for the fourth time VoIP Supply was nominated as one of the Best Places to Work in Western New York, and that for the seventh year in a row VoIP Supply was named to the list of Western New York’s Top CEOs / Top Private Companies, and it becomes apparent why 2011 was a year to remember for VoIP Supply.

When asked what VoIP Supply hopes the industry learned about the company this year, Communications Manager Nathan Miloszewski said, “VoIP Supply places a lot of importance on educating customers about the solutions they’re looking for.  VoIP Supply is more than just a website slinging hardware; we’re a full service VoIP resource.”

This year, VoIP Supply tripled the budget for its popular VoIP equipment buyback and reconditioning programs, Reclaim and Refresh.  The company also launched VoIP Fulfillment, a suite of services specifically designed for VoIP providers to help them improve their operational efficiency, decrease their touch costs and bolster their customer experience.

Other notable moments include VoIP Supply expanding its Polycom (News - Alert) device offerings with the addition of the Polycom SoundStation Duo IP Conference Phone. Whether your business is thinking about migrating to VoIP services or is already a proud user of VoIP, the Polycom conference phone works in both environments. The Polycom SoundStation Duo is a dual mode analog and VoIP conference phone offering support for both telephony platforms.

Moreover, VoIP Supply also announced that the VoIP equipment company has added AT&T Synapse small business VoIP phone systems to its plethora of VoIP offerings. VoIP Supply is now a certified AT&T Synapse SMB Partner capable of delivering the latest Synapse Business Phone (News - Alert) Systems, SnyJ Extendable Range Phone Systems, and AT&T Synapse Cordless Handsets and Headsets.

“In addition to the many new and expanded product lines that were to our catalog, VoIP Supply added a handful of impactful new hires to our team to strengthen our capabilities and improve our customer experience,” Miloszewski said.

As we get ready to say goodbye to 2011 and hello to 2012, Miloszewski weighed in on what’s in store for the industry in the coming year.

Unified Communications (News - Alert) (UC), mobile VoIP, and video conferencing will continue to shape the market as customers look for solutions that simplify collaborative efforts and flow more easily with their work/life balance,” he said.

And what can we expect from VoIP Supply in 2012?

“2012 will bring more growth, more hires, more services, and more comprehensive educational resources for our customers,” Miloszewski said.
