VoIP Equipment Leader VoIP Supply to Offer Ruckus Wireless Products
By Carrie Schmelkin, TMCnet Web Editor
VoIP Supply, a leading provider of VoIP equipment and complete solutions, had some good news to share this week – the addition of Ruckus Wireless (News - Alert) products that specialize in Wi-Fi for both enterprise and service provider markets.
For those that experience frustration over routing Wi-Fi signals – which can be unreliable due to interference and obstacles – Ruckus Wireless has developed “Smart Wi-Fi” to combat those barriers to a secure wireless network and restore faith in what companies love about Wi-Fi, according to company officials.
“VoIP Supply is excited to offer revolutionary Wi-Fi products from a manufacturer with such an impressive track record,” VoIP Supply’s Chief Marketing Officer Garrett Smith (News - Alert) said in a statement. “Today’s Wi-Fi systems face increasing levels of interference and obstacles. Ruckus delivers the unthinkable - Reliability, range and speed by automatically adapting to the surrounding environment.”
Ruckus Wireless products help reduce the cost of deployment, increase the range and reliability of Wi-Fi networks and ensure consistent performance at range.
“Ruckus is making Wi-Fi better – not necessarily faster or cheaper but more reliable,” VoIP Supply explains on its website. “It’s about a new way of getting and staying connected – reliably but without wires. At Ruckus they've done something that no one really thought possible: made Wi-Fi not suck.”
In other VoIP equipment news, recently VoIP Supply announced that it is offering a promotion until the end of the month for customers that promises that if you buy four Cisco (News - Alert) phones from VoIP Supply the fifth will be free if you opt for one of the following Cisco models: Cisco SPA303G, Cisco SPA504G and Cisco SPA525G.
“Crazy Tom,” a fictional character at VoIP Supply who runs weekly promotions and deals, had a few reasons for offering this promotion, according to company officials.
“Cisco phones are arguably the most well-known and recognized phones in the market today,” Crazy Tom told TMCnet. “The Cisco SPA303G, SPA504G and SPA525G2 are some of the newest SIP enabled phones from Cisco. These phones represent a portion of the models available in the new Cisco SPA3XX and SPA5XX series of phones.”
“These phones support a variety of standard features including high definition (HD) voice, SIP protocol, and the ability to connect directly to and IP PBX (News - Alert) or a hosted IP telephony service,” he added. “The Cisco SPA 303G has been designed as an affordable for phone for small business that supports many popular features. The four-line SPA504G is ideal for the user who is going to be on the phone all day whether they are in customer service, or sales. The SPA525G2 is a feature rich 5 line, color display, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enabled all-in-one phone.”
