Phybridge UniPhyer Guarantees Satisfaction

When a subsidiary of one of Canada’s largest financial companies realized it needed a new phone system at its office that would boost productivity and that was cost efficient, the company chose to move to the Mitel (News - Alert) 3300 UC solution to take advantage of the Teleworker, Mobile Extension and Hot Desking features, among other benefits.
However, the business faced a challenge to deploy the IP telephony in a repeatable, predictable manner across diverse, multiple locations without LAN upgrades or business disruptions. Specifically, they wanted to start out with 40 IP handsets rolled out on three different floors – but they didn’t want to get into a costly or expensive voice and data network convergence or an expensive ripping and replacement of their LAN.

With UniPhyer, the IT director had full control of the implementation of the IP phones – which were up and running very quickly. By identifying the phone wiring from his office in the central closet and moving those wires to a separate connecter, the director needed to then only connect the UniPhyer to the IP-PBX (News - Alert) (see diagram below).
