Aculab Sponsors and Exhibits at IT Expo West 2007
By Spencer D. Chin, TMCnet Web Editor
Aculab (News - Alert) will be a diamond sponsor and exhibitor at IT Expo West, taking place at the Los Angeles Convention Center between September 10th and 12th, 2007.
In addition to exhibiting their prestigious Prosody product range, including the award winning Prosody X IP media processing platform and Prosody S host media processing technology, Aculab will also be promoting the newly announced VoiceXML (News - Alert) and CCXML interpreter software for the Prosody range.
The VXML and CCXML interpreter software allows developers of IVR, voicemail, unified messaging, contact centre and conferencing solutions to implement standards-based interfaces to applications using media processing and signalling telephony platforms. The use of VoiceXML/CCXML scripting languages significantly speeds up the application development process by eliminating the need to develop with native product APIs, providing faster time to market, while reducing the associated costs. Aculab's VoiceXML/CCXML provides very high performance of thousands of simultaneous channels per host, service continuity with built in redundancy support and easy integration with 3rd party ASR and TTS voice engines.
“The IT Expo events are an important part of Aculab’s annual event schedule” commented Jo Taylor, Head of Marketing Communications at Aculab “the event continues to deliver a first class audience, superb networking opportunities and continued return on investment for Aculab”.
