SIP Print (News - Alert), a forward-thinking provider of VoIP call recording solutions, and snom, a developer of IP equipment, both recently revealed their partnership moving forward to integrate their respective technologies.
By approving SIP Print’s solutions as interoperable with its phones, snom will be able to assure its customers’ accurate implementation of both sets of technology. SIP Print’s call recording solutions will be officially incorporated into the snom family of phones for an optimal VoIP experience.
snom and SIP Print both serve the small- and medium-sized business arena, and will ultimately be able to serve a broader range of businesses through this partnership. Mike Storella (News - Alert), COO of snom, stated, “We strive to make our phones and IP PBXs as versatile as possible, and interoperable with all SIP-based functions and business applications. This partnership is a perfect example of how two companies providing valuable services for the SMB market can work together to create cohesive operating environments while also broadening a combined market.”
snom’s portfolio of desktop phones and IP PBXs includes the snom ONE plus IP PBX (News - Alert) appliance, and is a versatile VoIP communications platform for SMBs with five to 150 extensions or more, according to TMC’s Stefanie Mosca. She wrote, “The snom ONE plus allows businesses to put all of the features and functionality of the snom ONE IP PBX in an on-premise hardware solution.”
Donald Palmer, CEO of SIP Print, stated, “As VoIP-based call traffic continues to grow, call recording for compliance and records keeping is becoming more and more important to many kinds of businesses and organizations, including SMBs, yet many solutions are expensive and aimed at larger enterprises. By validating our interoperability with snom, we are presenting an end-to-end recording platform that is readily available for the SMB market and can make the whole process a much more simple and cost-effective affair.”
Bringing enterprise-class solutions to SMBs is what SIP Print and snom do best, and with their respective award-winning call recording and IP phone solutions, organizations are sure to take advantage of this latest interoperability.
