VoIP call center solutions provider PowerNet Global (News - Alert) has been honored for its impact in the greater community. The company announced it has been named as the 2011 WE Celebrate Community Impact: Business of the Year Award Runner Up, a nod to its commitment to strong ethics, reliability and integrity.
With 32 finalists competing in eight categories, 10 companies were honored as “Businesses WE Watch.” This award program was developed by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber and designed to recognize for-profit companies that demonstrate a sustained difference in the lives of those within their communities.
PowerNet Global developed its VoIP call center business with a foundation in integrity, spirituality, compassion, flexibility and conviction. This dedication to character has paid off through recognition for its everyday practices, including those give back to the community. PowerNet Global also offers a percentage of its profits back to local organizations focused on meeting the needs of others each year.

To honor those companies demonstrating a dedication to civic involvement and social responsibility, the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber gathered a crowd of nearly 700 at the WE Celebrate Awards. The event took place at the Hyatt Regency on Wednesday, December 7, and also honored woman-owned businesses, women in business and their advocates for innovation, achievement, social responsibility and mentoring.
The WE Celebrate Awards event is part of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber's women's leadership initiative, Women Excel (WE).

In other VoIP call center news, TMC (News - Alert) recently reported that PowerNet Global has added inbound SIP DIDs to its solution suite. With this new offering, it will no longer be mandatory for a receptionist to route calls to the proper destination. The new service adds value to the outbound calling solution known as NetDialer.
