After releasing a no-drop call policy on its SoftSPOT media platform, VoiceXML provider Interact Inc. has launched yet another tool that offers users security and testing capabilities in an easy-to-use system.
The SPOT Test Portal provides the ability to develop, test and debug voice applications while evaluating the SPOT VoiceXML (News - Alert)/CCXML media platform without having to download, configure or install any platform software or licenses.
Greg Gissler, founder, vice president and chief technology officer at Interact, said the SPOT Platform, with its performance and capacity and yet lower total cost of ownership, will lend itself to the new test portal.
“With Interact’s SPOT Test Portal, carriers, enterprises, and developers can see for themselves how easy it is to quickly develop, test, and deploy revenue generating applications on the SPOT VoiceXML/CCXML Media Platform,” Gissler said.
In order to incorporate the new testing portal, users are assigned a private account with a personal SIP URL that includes Web accessible file storage. This way, users can create new VoiceXML or CCXML files and utilize a browser-based file editor with syntax highlighting for the application execution.
Users can set a document of their choice as a default call-in application, or begin writing VoiceXML/CCXML applications to reach the full potential of the SPOT media platform.
With the systems’ simplicity, running a voice application can be accomplished with just a SIP or VoIP call to the SoftSPOT server.
