Voip-Pal.Com Inc. (Voip-Pal), through its subsidiary Digifonica Limited Gibraltar (Digifonica Gibraltar), has completed beta testing of the recently acquired VoIP patented technologies on its ground-based server. These patents are currently being integrated Into Voip-Pal's Cloud Server.
Broadband VoIP telecom company, Voip-Pal, offers local and long distance VoIP and voice peering services to consumers and business owners, as well as VoIP communication and reseller solutions for its partners. Voip-Pal powers international calls using VoIP technology on the Internet, smart cell phones and PC Tablets. The company’s goal is to provide a high-speed and cost-effective telephone solution for the international traveler who relies on an array of devices to communicate. With the addition of Digifonica Gibraltar's patent portfolio, shareholder value is enhanced and will contribute to significant revenue growth for Voip-Pal.
Recently, Voip-Pal also acquired several revolutionary digital voice technologies as part of the Digifonica Gibraltar transaction. The patent portfolio enhances shareholder value and will substantially increase revenues for Voip-Pal. In addition to the value of each patent, revenues will be derived from Voip-Pal's subscribers using its retail site and licensing the technologies to other VoIP service providers and subscribers.
The newly acquired patents focus on RBR (Routing, Billing and Rating), Lawful Intercept, Short Code/Emergency Dialing, Mobile Gateway (News - Alert), and Advanced Interoperability Solutions. Each patent will contribute individually to Voip-Pal's revenue model.
"We are very pleased with the performance of the patented technologies. They will produce a multi-faceted revenue stream for Voip-Pal,” said Dennis Chang, president of Voip-Pal.Com. “Royalty income from the licensing of the individual technologies can equal hundreds of millions of dollars per year and will help create a broader subscriber base. Instead of growing one subscriber at a time, we have the opportunity to receive royalties from major VoIP service providers who already have millions of clients. This will help catapult Voip-Pal into the upper echelons of the multi-billion dollar VoIP industry based on a revenue stream from existing customers of our licensees.”
With the VoIP service industry generating revenues of $58 billion in 2011 and mobile VoIP subscribers projected to reach 410 million by 2015, Voip-Pal is well positioned to gain a substantial share of this lucrative market.
