In order to increase its position in emerging verticals such as VoIP, colocation and cloud services, Network Solutions (News - Alert) (News - Alert) Provider (NSP), acquired VoIP technology provider and installer Telecommunications Experts Inc. and Tier1 Data Centers, which builds data centers across the U.S.
These acquisitions are expected to expand NSP's capabilities, add more value to its offerings, help it become a one-stop solution provider and also pave the way for NSP to fulfill its commitment of providing advanced and affordable technology solutions to its customers, according to company officials.
Tier 1 Data Centers, which brings NSP in the data center infrastructure space, will not only support NSP's green initiatives in the data construction sector but will also allow it explore opportunities in the cloud services space. Likewise, Telecommunications Experts Inc., will increase market penetration for VoIP services, phone systems.
NSP, a technology integrator, believes that the acquisition of these companies is in line with its commitment of providing the best quotes, better information and unbeatable results for its clients.
Phillip D. Walker, CEO of NSP, spoke of the vision of the company and its promise of providing advanced and affordable technology solutions to its customers.
“The challenge we face is that many business do not take full advantage of technology because of lack of understanding and cost,” he said. “NSP makes technology easy, useable and more importantly an affordable service aligned with exceptional expertise.”
The company has grown 1102 percent from 2007 to 2010. NSP was honored by Inc. 500 in 2011 and was ranked eighth in the telecommunications industry. The Los Angeles Business Journal also ranked NSP 20th among the fastest growing technology companies in Los Angeles in 2012.
In other industry news, Network Solutions Provider announced a significant growth in both sales and new customers by reaching the milestone of over 1,000 customers. 1043 companies of all sizes across the country rely on Network Solutions Provider as their telecommunications and technology purchases company.
