By Carolyn J Dawson, TMCnet Contributor
Advanced American Telephones, a licensed manufacturer of AT&T-branded telephones, has recently announced the launch of added functionality to the Synapse phone system to support the launch of the Synapse T1/PRI Gateway (News - Alert) (SB67060). The Synapse T1/PRI Gateway with the upgraded software enables the Synapse phone system to support 100 extensions and up to 39 lines with Direct Inward Dialling (DID) when paired with the SB67010 PSTN Gateway. The Synapse phone system will be catering to the needs of small to medium sized businesses (SMBs).
The Synapse business phone system, an advanced PBX (News - Alert)-style telephone system, is intuitive, and has an easy-to-understand management interface, easily scalable architecture, and upgradeable software in order to protect technology infrastructure investments and deliver significantly lesser total cost of ownership as compared to competing platforms. The Synapse phone system (SB67030) when combined with the T1/PRI Gateway provides the quality of DECT (News - Alert) 6.0 technology for workplace mobility along with the adaptability for future communications needs. The new combination provides the ideal solution for businesses that require additional outside lines, as the Synapse T1/PRI Gateway enables the employees and customers communicate faster.
In a release, Jane Donnelly, director of sales for the Enterprise Business Group at Advanced American Telephones said that, "With limited staff and the need for more efficient communication, small businesses can take advantage of direct communication with customers using Direct Inward Dialling on an already feature-rich phone system. The T1/PRI Gateway is a great solution for businesses that need the option of expansion to support their increasing business."
