In a press release, Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC) along with Crossfire Media and AU24 announced that Acme Packet has been named a Platinum Sponsor for their Voice Interconnect and Peering Conference (VIPeering).

Scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011, the VIPeering conference is designed to explore the interconnect, registry and numbering technologies, best practices and partnerships that carriers, service providers and enterprises need to keep pace with consumer and business demands for end-to-end IP communication services.

The event will be collocated with TMC's (News - Alert) ITEXPO, which is held Feb. 2 - 4, 2011, at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami, Fla.

The show organizers announced that registration for VIPeering is open now on the event website. They also announced a "Call for Papers", and companies interested in participating as a speaker in conference sessions are encouraged to submit titles and abstracts for review. The deadline for submissions is Dec. 3.
