Report: Increased Interest Driving Sales of VoIP
By Anshu Shrivastava, TMCnet Contributor
The primary factors driving Voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) is the routing of voice conversations over the Internet or via any other IP-based network, according to a new market report, entitled “Enterprise VoIP Equipment Market 2008-2011.”
VoIP services convert voice into a digital signal that travels over the Internet - offering benefits such as unlimited long-distance and local calling, scalability, multiple location integration, and more.
The report also notes that as a result of the increased move to VoIP, equipment used for the deployment of VoIP services including IP-PBX’s (News - Alert), VoIP access points and gateways, VoIP adapters, VoIP Phones, and others have also increased in demand.
This equipment is favourable because it’s easy to use, manageable and flexible and offers cost savings when compared to legacy equipment.
There are a number of companies offering VoIP services. However, selecting the right VoIP service for a particular business can be confusing and tedious. VendorSeek.com helps by offering free quotes as well as a comparison chart so businesses can select the best VoIP service for their specific needs.
