Successful Voice Management for Converged Networks: Free Webinar

To help companies learn about the ways they can cut VoIP operational costs and boost ROI, the company recently sponsored a TMC Webinar event. During the webinar, Tone Software’s (News - Alert) Amit Kapoor, director of strategic technology advancement and Paul Wiggins, convergence technology manager, highlighted the importance of integrating operations methodologies to effectively deal with VoIP complexity and discussed ways to ensure voice operations drive the desired VOIP ROI. Kapoor noted that operational silos can drive up costs and put VoIP at risk. With convergence however, operational silos and barriers are aggregated. In order to efficiently manage your converged environment, Kapoor said the gaps between these operational silos must be bridged. Wiggins also detailed this importance during the presentation and said, by managing the full convergence lifecycle, success can be ensured. “To be able to successfully and cost effectively deliver VoIP across the enterprise calls for a holistic managed approach,” Wiggins said. “It requires the ability to manage the whole convergence lifecycle which is comprised of a number of key elements.” And according to Wiggins, “Without visibility over - and the technical capability to manage each of these elements - sustaining high levels of voice quality would be problematic at best.” For more, check out the archived version of the Webinar HERE.
