Tone Software Partners with NuPSoft to Expand Presence for ReliaTel and Streamline Solutions in European Market

Tone Software Corporation announced today a distribution and reseller partnership with NuPSoft, a provider of network service level management technologies to the European market. Tone Software’s (News - Alert) ReliaTel and Streamline solutions will expand NuPSoft’s technology portfolio, providing the capabilities to perform pre-network assessments that help clients determine their networks’ readiness for Voice over IP (VoIP), company officials said.
“As the impact of moving voice traffic over the data network grows, we recognize the need to provide deeper management technology that will address the unique challenges of the converged network,” said Fritz Neulinger, president and chief executive officer of NuPSoft.
NuPSoft will provide its clients with an in-depth management of faults, performance, quality of service (QoS), traffic, and network capacity for multi-platform, IP-enabled voice and data environments with the dual technologies. For Tone Software, the partnership will expand its presence in Europe, increasing its market share in the region, and on a global scale.
“As our clients migrate to IP-based voice technologies, the unmatched IP voice service and quality management capabilities of ReliaTel and Streamline will ensure our customers achieve a smooth migration to VoIP across their corporate networks, while also successfully supporting their goal of optimizing data network performance and value,” Neulinger said.
NuPSoft officials said the company chose the ReliaTel and Streamline technologies for their ability to fully manage both the data and voice aspects of today’s business driven networks.
“This partnership with NuPSoft enables Tone Software to greatly expand its exposure to a strong market of enterprises and service providers throughout Europe,” said Shirley Balarezo (News - Alert), president, Tone Software Corporation.
Balarezo continued, “The combination of Tone Software’s robust technology with NuPSoft’s in-depth technical and software expertise will provide European enterprises and service providers with superior converged networking solutions that support key corporate initiatives in mobility, collaboration and unified communications.”
ReliaTel and Streamline are platform agnostic, easily supporting any mix of technologies, and providing management benefits to clients at any stage of convergence—from the pre-net assessment stage, to the fully deployed, QoS and user experience management stage.
According to Tracey Whitney, Director of Marketing, Tone Software, “ReliaTel and Streamline are platform agnostic IP voice management solutions that monitor and manage voice faults, QoS, performance, and capacity in real-time across PBX (News - Alert), routers, and VoIP switches and gateways to deliver the deep-dive metric analysis and diagnostics needed to ensure IP voice quality and service levels.”
NuPSoft officials said the company also intends to utilize ReliaTel’s data network management capabilities to support its customers’ current data network services, and as the bridging platform to manage customers’ IP voice services as they make the transition.
NuPSoft customers will then be able to accommodate VoIP or IP voice technologies as they are added and integrated, without replacing or reconfiguring their network management platforms.
