Windstream (News - Alert) Enterprise announced its Enterprise OfficeSuite UC achieved HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance, confirmed by an independent CPA firm.

The examination was in accordance with Security and Availability Trust Service Principles and solidified HIPAA and HITECH. For businesses this is a big deal, and Windstream knows it. The service provider is focused on prioritizing customer needs by protecting their data. In regard to SOC 2, the testing showed adherence with security, availability, system privacy, confidentiality and processing integrity.

Windstream touts a robust portfolio of networking and communications solutions. From its SD-WAN concierge and Cloud Connect to the OfficeSuite UC solution, it is working to round out a comprehensive armory of next generation offerings for the enterprise and service providers.
