Conversations and efforts around artificial intelligence and machine learning continue to multiply. And RingCentral this week put extra emphasis on the fact that it – and the company’s partners – are playing a key role in delivering solutions that employ AI and ML to provide businesses with new value.

During its ConnectCentral annual user conference, RingCentral (News - Alert) announced that Gong.io, ThetaLake, and Velvetech have joined the RingCentral Connect Platform Partner Program. As a result, RingCentral will be working with each of the companies to add artificial intelligence-enabled voice analytics to its platform.

“By partnering with a growing ecosystem of AI companies and enabling them to leverage RingCentral open APIs to integrate with RingCentral cloud communications solutions, we are offering our customers access to broader AI services. This allows them to capture timely customer data and drive greater customer engagement and value.”

Gong.io provides a conversation intelligence platform for sales teams. ThetaLake is working with RingCentral to enable businesses in financial services, insurance, and other highly regulated industries to archive audio recordings to address compliance. And Velvetech is building a real-time transcription solutions using machine learning capabilities from XSELL. The resulting solution will enable businesses to use insights to better coach sales agents and accelerate sales.

RingCentral also has announced new partnerships with Box and Google (News - Alert).

“RingCentral Archiver with Box allows users to archive key RingCentral communications data such as SMS, fax, voicemails and call recordings automatically to their Box (News - Alert) account,” RingCentral explains. “Once in Box, RingCentral data can be enhanced with artificial intelligence using Box Skills.”

And workers can now choose RingCentral for both audio and video calling by using the native Google Calendar Add-on. That makes it easier for customers to schedule conference calls and meetings because they don’t have to toggle between applications, the companies explain.

RingCentral Connect Platform Partner Program supplies independent software vendors with technology, including APIs, and go-to-market resources. RingCentral’s open platform today has 1,500 integrations and 15,000 developer partners.
