Software-as-a-service solutions provider and WebRTC developer i-Comm this week launched its North American Partner Program.

The company sells the TACTAL WebRTC/VoIP calling solution. It allows for instant and secure communications via a website. And it features app integration, analytics and integrations with contact center and CRM solutions, call wait queue, a visual IVR menu, and Web-based toll free calling. TACTAL makes it possible for businesses to embed toll-free call buttons into their mobile apps and/or websites. That way customers and prospects can reach them immediately and for free from anywhere in the world in which internet access is available.

The channel program will cater to partners looking for real-time communications solutions that will provide them with differentiation in the marketplace and the ability to build customer loyalty and their own margins. There are two options within the i-Comm Connect Partner Program. One is that Agent Program, which is aimed at independent consultants who want to own and manage the sales process. The other is a White Label Program. This option enables service providers to own the customer relationship, set their margins, do their own billing and support, a terminate calls on their network if they like.

“The program will be a game changer,” said Kent Terpe, director of international business and partnerships. “1-800 numbers revolutionized the way consumers connected decades ago, and today, TACTAL is reinventing the way people engage online. As the channel looks to differentiate their product and increase ARPU, TACTAL is the solution that empowers any business to fully leverage their Internet presence by adding real-time, cost-saving communication services.”

There was a lot of channel news and coverage this week. That included news that AT&T Partner Exchange has rolled out enhancements including a new API. Also, Jive this week formally unveiled a new business continuity solution and was talking about its channel strategy. We also talked about channel strategy this week with BabyTEL, CenturyLink, Dizzion, Peak 10, and Windstream, among others.
