Phone.com (News - Alert), a provider of cloud communications and VoIP phone services, recently announced that it has won TMC’s 2014 INTERNET TELEPHONY Product of the Year Award for its Virtual Office solution.

"We are thrilled, once again, to be recognized as the leader in cloud communications," said Eric Lituchy, CMO at Phone.com, in a statement.  "We continually push the limits of VoIP technology to provide our customers with the best combination of telephony features at the most affordable prices."

Phone.com’s Virtual Office solution is an affordable business phone service that allows users to leverage one phone number for all locations and staff. This gives callers a seamless experience when dialing into the office, whether the business has employees working remotely, employees constantly on the road, or multiple locations across the United States. A single number will direct callers to all of the various departments or extensions that they may need without requiring them to remember multiple business phone numbers.

Jeremy Watkin, director of customer service added, "Small businesses and entrepreneurs across America love our innovative phone platform and award-winning support.  We are excited to win this award and for the year ahead."

"It gives me great pleasure to recognize Phone.com with a 2014 Product of the Year Award for its commitment to excellence and innovation," said Rich Tehrani (News - Alert), CEO, TMC. "In the opinion of our distinguished judges, Phone.com Virtual Office has proven to be among the best communications and technology solutions on the market in 2014. I look forward to continued innovation from Phone.com.”

In related news, Phone.com recently announced that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has awarded the company its first patent for an innovative process that addresses cost and privacy issues involving conferencing from any phone as well as texting and caller ID management when using mobile devices.
