Technology innovations have enabled the evolution of the virtual office, providing professionals with the ability to work in real-time from any location. To support this initiative and expand its market reach, LiquidSpace has announced a partnership to enable business center and global workspace operators to extend additional support to the virtual workforce.

This Digital Journal release highlights the partnership for the mobile application company and Cloud Virtual Offices, a provider of virtual office solutions. Cloud Virtual Offices is encouraging all locations it partners with to leverage the LiquidSpace system for their inventory. These workspaces are bookable in real-time either through the Web or a mobile phone.

Cloud Virtual Offices currently partners with hundreds of business centers in more than 25 states in the U.S. The company is developing back-end reporting, as well as a support infrastructure to help with the seamless adoption by the office business center industry. LiquidSpace has agreed to develop unique new features that will address the specific needs of a business center.

The two companies plan to announce their partnership at OBCAL in a joint exhibit. OBCAL is the annual business center association conference set to take place in Las Vegas on September 15th and 16th

Mark Gilbreath, co-founder and CEO of LiquidSpace noted in a release that with the help of Cloud Virtual Offices, the company is addressing a clear mandate for nimble workspaces and frictionless, mobile working. It is also a significant market opportunity in the virtual office space. The company has identified an ideal partner in Cloud Virtual Offices as they understand the need for the real-time, accessible workspace, offering the ability to deliver integrated solutions to the larger business center industry.

A recent IDG report suggested there are more than 1 billion mobile workers in the world today, driving the need for virtual office technologies. As the number of mobile workers continues to increase, there is also a significant need for corporations to formulate goals to reduce occupancy costs, increase overall productivity, reduce their carbon footprint and outsource activities to individual contractors and freelancers.

According to Laurent Dhollande, CEO of Cloud Virtual Offices, it was recognized early on that LiquidSpace was positioned to be an essential part of the mobile worker toolkit necessary to locate and book day offices and conference rooms. LiquidSpace is more than just a cool mobile app or slick online reservation system. This offering is a comprehensive system that can be easily embraced by the entire business center industry to address the growing demands of the mobile worker.

All Cloud Virtual Offices’ existing clients can access the LiquidSpace app for free. Cloud Virtual Offices is currently developing reporting mechanisms and management tools for easy availability to its business partners at no cost, as well as free support and a forum for the sharing of best practices.

Dhallande concluded that this approach will help the company to package new, network-wide offerings for the benefit of a wide range of mobile workers, as well as their corporate sponsors. This opportunity is driving the company’s significant investment in the exclusive partnership.
