Phone.com, the Internet telephony provider for virtual offices in addition to residential services, sent Channel Program Director Joel Maloff (News - Alert) to ITEXPO East 2011 in search for future partners.

The company provides a suite of products for small businesses with anywhere from 2 to 30 telephone lines.  Maloff said the company helps “provide small businesses with the same function and value of larger systems without the cost.”Among the new developments from the company comes its mobile app, allowing users to access their inbox, incoming faxes and conference with clients—all using IP. Much like Google Voice, dialing out from the app does not take the user’s cellphone minutes, and calls through the user’s business line instead of the mobile line. Watch Maloff demonstrate the new app here.

In other ITEXPO (News - Alert) East news, the Telecom Expense Management Industry Association (TEMIA), will moderate two sessions at the ITEXPO East 2011 taking place Feb. 2 to 4, at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami.

The first session on Feb. 2, from 1:30 to 3:15 p.m., will feature experts that will address ways to proactively avoid bill shocks and more in a session titled, “If Charges for Wireless Service Plans Keep Going Down, Why Does my Spending Keep Rising?”
