February 16, 2010
Phoenix, Arizona-based Nextiva has received a 2009 Product of the Year Award from TMC’s INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine.
The company was honored for their vFAX, virtual faxing solution, which makes it possible to send and receive faxes from any location with an Internet connection.
'After receiving hundreds of applications again this year, judging the products was difficult but I am confident that the selected winners are dedicated to quality and the growth of the IP communications industry. These winners deserve this award and I look forward to seeing more inventive solutions from them as they contribute further to the VoIP and IP communications industry,” said Erik Linask, TMC group editorial director.
Nextiva's virtual fax service also offers more flexibility for sending and receiving faxes including fax by email, fax thru Microsoft Office, fax thru a Web portal, or the ability to send faxes through an existing fax machine.
Companies whose products were selected for the award are noted for demonstrating vision, leadership and thoroughness.
“We are proud to acknowledge the winning companies,” greatest achievements in advancing VoIP and IP communication technologies for 2009,” said Rich Tehrani, CEO of TMC. “These companies have shown us their devotion to quality and excellence while addressing real needs in the marketplace.”
