AT&T Attempts to Overhaul Legacy Phone Systems with Business-Advanced Offering
Communications giant AT&T has revealed a new service offering designed to move businesses away from outdated, unreliable phone systems with a digital overhaul.
Businesses and enterprises across the globe are finally opening their arms to the digital revolution, and are attempting to reap the benefits by replacing older telephone systems that have little value in the modern workforce. However, an increasingly common problem among digital transformations is deciding whether to replace existing infrastructure, or to integrate new technology to run with it. While the benefits of utilizing these upgrades are certainly abundant, business leaders may be hesitant to move forward due to high costs and dependence on existing technology.
To help businesses adapt to the new demands of a cloud-focused workforce, AT&T has unveiled AT&T Phone for Business-Advanced. Supported by RingCentral’s cloud capabilities, this new service uses enterprise-grade technology developed by DataRemote® to convert analog traffic, allowing that traffic to transfer over VoIP Managed Facility Voice Network (MFVN). The offering also allows customers to take advantage of Data Monitoring Centers, ensuring network connectivity is always reliable and at peak performance.
"Tried and true. Until now, traditional wireline phone service has been hard to beat for specialty data and voice lines.” commented Rich Shaw, Vice President, Voice and Collaboration, AT&T Business “With AT&T Phone for Business-Advanced, we've found a way to modernize these lines to introduce customers to new cloud capabilities while maintaining the reliability and regulatory compliance that they require."
