Destiny, one of Europe’s leading providers of cloud-based business communications services, announced the acquisition of Danish business communication and collaboration company, IPVision.

The purchase is yet another massive development toward Destiny’s increasing presence over the European cloud marketplace. Earlier this year, Destiny announced the acquisition of two Swedish UCaaS providers, Telepo and Soluno, which marked an impressive turning point for the company’s strategy toward market dominance. With the inclusion of ipvision’s technical expertise and existing client base, Destiny is now well positioned to claim a major stake in the increasingly competitive UCaaS arena.

"We are excited to welcome ipvision to the Destiny family.” commented Daan De Wever, CEO Destiny “Obviously, this will strengthen our position on the Danish market and in the Nordics in general. In addition to this, we onboard a company with great experience and competencies within professional communication and collaboration solutions for businesses – especially within the SME segment. Therefore, ipvision is a perfect match with the Destiny Group, reinforcing our position as an innovative, client-centric and market leading UCaaS provider for SMEs in Europe."

Although this move is highly important for the future success of Destiny, the acquisition also appears to be a positive step for the IPVision staff. As a result of the deal, IPVision leaders feel their organization has been secured for the future, and will be able to create new business opportunities thanks to Destiny’s large presence in the business space.

"Destiny has a strong track record of company integration that emphasizes future growth, based on innovation and the strongest UCaaS product portfolio in the market, which perfectly corresponds to our business ambitions.” added Kenneth Andreasen, CEO of IPVision “Furthermore, we see a match when it comes to values and focus on developing client-centric communication services for the cloud. At the same time, we join a group of companies which will give us access to state-of-the-art knowledge and technology and thereby develop our competencies and leverage our business potential."
