Impact Enhances & Simplifies Carrier CPaaS Offerings

Impact, a wholesale carrier provider, announced a new API rollout to offer automated addition of toll-free services to a network.

The company worked together with telecom solutions provider RouteTrust to create the API that allows its carrier customers to acquire, provision, and modify toll-free numbers on its network without any human intervention necessary.

"Impact is recognized as a leading provider of US domestic and international voice and toll-free solutions for the world's largest service providers," said Michael Rothchild, COO of RouteTrust. "By partnering with Impact on this project, we have now provided their Carrier customers with a platform to add, move, and change toll-free numbers without hassle or delay."

Impact is the wholesale Carrier division of Lingo Communications. The company acquired the communications company in 2019 and has been working to add CPaaS functionality as well as increase efficiency and profitability for its carrier customers ever since. This latest move is a push farther on this front to expand service offerings for the SMB, Carrier, and Consumer markets.

Recently, Lingo announced Record Partner Channel Sales for 2020 as well as growth in Distribution agreements over the last year.

With the new API, it’s possible for customers to provision toll-free services quickly and easily and process orders with accuracy.
