Cloud communications isn’t just for the enterprise. SMBs are maneuvering through murky waters during the pandemic. At the very least, these firms require modernization, robust communication tools and operations befitting the digital age.

TELUS and RingCentral announced an expanded partnership, now offering Canadian SMBs access to the TELUS Business Connect solution, supporting a smooth transition to a modern cloud communications solution.

The newly announced Business Connect Voice and Connect Voice Plus solutions offer SMBs the opportunity to move away from legacy telephony, offer easy management and drive remote workforce productivity.

“Small businesses are the backbone of our economy and we want to provide them with solutions that enable them to run their business smoothly so they can focus on what matters most, and not worry about the technology,” said Marshall Berkin, vice-president of Business Products and Services at TELUS. “Through our partnership with RingCentral, small businesses can now manage their phone systems remotely, whether that’s from their in-store phone to a mobile phone or manage call routing from wherever they are, unlike traditional phone lines.”

Legacy telephony is putting businesses in the corner, incapable of competing in a WFH world. Cloud communications providers have the opportunity to save millions of businesses around the world. And size doesn’t matter.

Are your communications in the cloud, yet?
