New Cloud Communications Options Come to Canada
The True North may not always be touted as a technological hub (well, outside of Toronto at least), but news from Canada this week highlights how cloud communications is permeating every nook and cranny of the globe.
This week, Panasonic Canada announced the arrival of its new cloud solutions to Canada. These include hosted PBX, SIP Trunking and on-premises PBX services. All aimed at aiding in the improvement of communications and collaboration, and coming at a pocket friendly price point.
“For 30 years Panasonic has been delivering the best Unified Communications Solutions for global businesses and continues to push the industry when it comes to innovative solutions,” noted Brian Cox, Director, Business Solutions, Panasonic Canada. “With these new offerings bolstering our existing solutions we’re helping to meet the evolving communication needs of today’s people-centric organizations.”
The new Panasonic hosted PBX offers options, as it offers a number of different types of phones – mobile and desktop. In addition, locations, seats and features can easily be added to address business needs. Due to the system being hosted in redundant and secure data centers, service interruptions are kept to a minimum. But even so, if there’s an infrastructure incident, a Panasonic service provider will fix, maintain and update infrastructure. And, the monthly subscription model saves on upfront costs, with infrastructure and hardware costs handled by the service provider.
The SIP Trunking solutions put the power of on-premises in user hands, offering the flexibility of owning and operating a robust PBX system. With cloud services available, and the ability to scale on-demand, not to mention cost savings as well, make this a formidable set of offerings.
“From small teams to large enterprises, today’s workforces are becoming more and more dispersed, working outside the traditional office. This means business owners need better ways to stay connected and productive. Panasonic’s new cloud-based solution is helping to solve this increasingly vital challenge,” said Cox.
The cloud communications market is a growing space, chock full of options. As the cloud continues its rise to prominence, the benefits are undeniable. Are your communications in the cloud?
