AVOXI Core Gets a New Online Portal, Innovation Center

With communications as a service (CaaS) gaining ground with many businesses out there, it's not surprising to see a lot of new entrants into this field. With a lot of new entrants comes a clear need to differentiate from the competition, and that's a point AVOXI likely took into account when it recently brought out a new online portal for its AVOXI Core system.


The AVOXI Core system offers a user interface geared toward simplicity and ease of use, making sure that the array of features offered via the system can be readily accessed and put to work. The new online portal underscores this intent and gives customers new levels of access, now able to configure and manage all the features and relevant settings from any device, meaning from anywhere. With features like hunt groups, call forwarding on an international level, and virtual attendant systems involved, AVOXI Core is a powerful system that got a whole new level of control.

Additionally, AVOXI also stepped up its Charleston, South Carolina office to serve as the company's innovation center. With what AVOXI CEO David Wise called “a significant amount of money in the space and the people to provide the tools needed for the development team to figure out what is next in the evolution of software...” invested in the operation, it was clear big things were expected, and so far, the Charleston innovation center seems to have delivered.

Speaking of the innovation center in Charleston, Wise further noted “Charleston will continue to expand and be our Corporate Innovation Center. We’re always looking at how to do things better, how to do them faster, more automated, improve our software and use technology in a way that our competitors are not. We are working with cutting edge technologies like Go and React. Our core competencies are around JavaScript and Node.js—all running in the AWS platform, the horizontally and vertically scalable cloud environment in which some of the largest companies in the world have their infrastructure running.”

Essentially, it's likely a safe bet to expect further modifications of AVOXI Core thanks to the ongoing support of resources and faith AVOXI is putting into its innovation center. We may even see the modifications go beyond Core and go into other product lines, or even completely new products altogether. A company that's not willing to invest in innovation—even if it fails—is likely to fail completely in the end, because it won't be able to bring out sufficiently new products to distinguish itself in the market and draw attention from potential buyers.

We've already seen some of what the innovation center can do with AVOXI Core, and we're likely to see more of this as we go along. The more it can innovate, the better it's likely to do as a company, and with a complete center behind its innovation, some big things should be on tap for AVOXI, and for its users.
