Net by Net Holding, a telecommunications operator and developer of cloud-based private branch exchange (PBX) software, has created the new Cloud PBX for its corporate clients.

This virtual PBX was built on the SwitchRay Class 5 SR-S5000 software platform – a softswitch that handles remote access, voice and message services, call center services, and personal services, such as speed dial, that any business would expect to gain in its own private branch exchange. Net by Net has taken those functions to cloud to offer that capability to clients in Belgorod, Cheboksary, Kursk, Lipetsk, Moscow and its surrounding region, Orel, Pskov, Surgut, Tver, and Voronezh.

Sergey Ilchuk, the corporate market business development director at Net by Net, commented that its corporate customers want high-quality service that is also affordable. The new Cloud PBX tries to give them the best combination of those desires.

“Net by Net is expanding its service offering for corporate clients according to the needs of our customers,” Ilchuk said. “The challenge of cost optimization is very relevant today for our corporate clients. Now we can offer them an effective tool which helps to create a high-quality corporate telephone network and at the same time, saves on equipment installation and maintenance.”

TMC’s previous note of an update to the SwitchRay SR-S5000 concerned its ability to “hunt” for available operators and allow for third parties to interrupt calls as they progress. Known as Call Barge-In, that second feature could give company managers the option of interrupting any existing call, such as between a sales agent and customer, in order to smooth any problems.

As noted earlier, users will also have a host of expected features at their fingertips. Cloud PBX will have the ability to record calls, set speed dial settings for any user, handle group calls and transfer or hold calls as needed, and complete actions such as redial or initiate an alarm clock.

Net by Net said Cloud PBX combines all the mobile and fixed-line numbers associated with an enterprise and consolidates them into a single corporate network. This means that employees on their mobile devices who work from home or who need to make calls on the road can utilize the above features by connecting to the central network. Small to large businesses can take advantage of these features and either switch or upgrade to a new calling system within a day. Initial setup, Net by Net claims, takes only one hour. At that point, enterprises can begin to handle calls and manage their devices from within the cloud.
