SwitchReach Makes Second Acquisition of New Year

Recently, SwiftReach announced that it completed its acquisition of Alert Solutions, a leading provider of cloud-based multi-channel messaging and communication solutions. SwiftReach is a company which provides emergency notification and incident management solutions for government, education, enterprise, utilities and the healthcare market.


The recent acquisition will offer the double benefit of enhancing and optimizing message delivery for Alert Solutions' customers, while also expanding its presence in the education and healthcare markets. Wasting no time to further reach its goals, this week SwiftReach announced the completion of its acquisition of ITL/Kall8.

In its original conception, Kall8 was founded as an enhanced telecom design firm specializing in custom voice and data applications. Over the past 22 years it has grown into a global telecom carrier able to offer custom enhancements to basic carrier service, which is what makes it a good fit with SwiftReach.

Kevin Alward, SwiftReach’s CEO, made the following comments, “The acquisition of Kall8 is an important step for SwiftReach. We believe the strategy of leveraging our proprietary platform, API development and network to create a wide-ranging portfolio of complementary products and services will serve our customers well, while adding significant value to our business.”

The days of companies having to maintain their own PBX systems are falling behind us. As more organizations move to cloud-based services to satisfy their business needs, we see that topping the list is cloud hosted PBX services. Virtual PBX is an office phone system offering business-class phone features using existing phones and internet enabled Voice over IP (VoIP) phones.

An important factor which makes Kall8 a good fit for SwiftReach is the fact that it has its own proprietary cloud technology that enables call distribution, lead management, call announcement, virtual PBX/IVR, call recording and integration with CRM platforms. This will add to SwiftReach’s infrastructure, as well as provide a presence in the real-time call analytics and API development market.
