Proxus Management, a third-party fee management firm, has selected 365 Connect to provide its online marketing, leasing and resident services platform across its managed portfolio.

According to Charles Raffay, CIO at Proxus Management, once entering the already crowded sector, the company realized that it needed to do things differently. The company’s approach to property management is different compared to its competitors in the market, Raffay said, adding that “we developed our high quality low cost (HQLC) management model, which heavily emphasizes daily monitoring of key performance indicators, data analysis and process automation, to eliminate the typically costly and error prone work that is often done in the industry.”

The company developed proprietary middleware software called Proximity, which integrates various systems, including property management software, virtual PBX phone systems, Internet marketing and more, into an open, flexible, reporting and process automation tool.

“This provides a single source for all our data and pushes it out to people and processes that need it; in a usable form, producing consistent and correct information, eliminating (human) errors, and free up time for staff to focus on higher value add work for the properties we manage.”

As part of this development, according to Raffay, the company needed an industry partner that could help to automate the company’s online marketing and leasing process.

With the 365 Connect Platform, the company completely eliminated the need for its managers or marketing team to spend time and money maintaining the online leasing activities, Raffay said.

“All they have to do is keep our property management software updated with accurate information and the interface between Proximity and 365 Connect does the rest,” he said, adding that the company has seen a significant increase in search engine rankings, inquiries and, most importantly, leases, brought about by the partnership with 365 Connect.

The 365 Connect Platform comes with the ability to market communities across the Internet on high traffic sites, automate social media postings and also deliver desktop and mobile platforms for prospects to transact business.

Kerry W. Kirby, CEO at 365 Connect, said that the 365 Connect Platform is built to reduce the workload of site staff, so they can focus on more important issues, such as serving residents and signing new leases.

“The custom interface between Proximity and 365 Connect does all the updating for site staff. This delivers a new scale of efficiency and ease of use, which fits right into the goals of Proxus.”

365 Connect designs and delivers an array of online platforms that work in unison with each other to market, lease and retain residents in multifamily communities. The 365 Connect Platform interfaces with social media, management software, marketing platforms and a host of other third-party applications.
