ECT Unveils New Website Filled with Virtual PBX Information
European Computer Telecoms (ECT), a provider of value added services (VAS) in the voice and multimedia domain, has just launched a new website dedicated to carriers and service providers who want to deliver the virtual PBX functionalities offered by ECT.
The site contains information on the company’s product portfolio of PBXs and Centrex-related products. It also details how carriers and their corporate customers can benefit from implementing a virtual PBX right now.
ECT’s virtual PBX allows companies to replace their premise-based PBXs and reduce monthly phone bills dramatically. This is due to the fact that users now need only one mobile phone for fixed and mobile calls with only one invoice and no separate costs for mobile subscriptions.
“Our virtual PBX is a truly convergent solution that replaces all the customer’s fixed and mobile phones with one phone,” said Carlos Branco, product manager at ECT, in a statement. “It is much cheaper than any on-premise solution and has all the advantages of free internal calling and includes all PBX features.”
“This cost advantage helps carriers to increase their customer retention,” Branco added.
The newly unveiled website is part of ECT’s marketing strategy to reach out to more customers. In fact, this is the third product site launched by the organization in a row with the purpose of showcasing each product group individually as well as providing valuable information to its customers.
Recent research from Infonetics has revealed that while the sales of virtual PBXs is rising, the PBX market overall is only expanding slightly. This is due to the fact that many companies are still hesitant to implement these next-generation offerings and are not hiring additional staff members as fast as what was once seen in previous years.
