LG-Ericsson Unveils Virtual IP-PBX Specifically for Small Businesses
LG-Ericsson USA has launched the SBG-1000, its new virtual PBX communications management system.
The innovative business communications product is designed for small office/small business customers and will power pure IP communications for virtually all of the demanding business communication applications in environments of up to 20 employees/users.
The SBG-1000 virtual PBX system includes features such as auto attendant for professional call handling and routing, as well as voice mail, call recording, call forwarding and following and more, in addition to extending the PBX solution beyond the office and over the WAN, the company said.
Additionally, the small box features eight wired 10/100 ports—four of which can power connected devices via PoE, 802.11n 2x2 MIMO wireless access, a DECT base station and a built-in USB file/print server.
Due to the sleek and compact housing of the SBG-1000, it can be wall-mounted or placed on a desk. Built on a fully-distributed architecture, the SBG-1000 creates a smart mobile office that brings complete mobility for on-premise and external voice and data communication that is totally transparent to callers and users.
Moreover, the virtual PBX system is fully compatible and networkable with LG-Ericsson USA iPECS-LIK family. It also functions well as a standalone small business solution that integrates the various benefits of IP telephony and communication management to a branch office.
LG-Ericsson’s SBG-1000 virtual PBX system is now available through the company's certified resellers.
Nextiva, another provider of a virtual PBX solution that has been developed specifically for small to mid-sized businesses has revealed that it offers lower international calling rates and high scalability, which allows the PBX phone system to continue to grow along with any business.
