VoIP Innovations Adds My Clients Feature in VoIP BackOffice
By Rajani Baburajan, TMCnet Contributor
Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) has transformed the way businesses conduct day-to-day activities. VoIP based applications like virtual office and hosted PBX (News - Alert) have made it easier for companies to expand their business beyond the geographical boundaries without spending huge money on infrastructure.
Companies like Phone.com (News - Alert) offers VoIP-based virtual office, 800 numbers, VoIP phone and other services that allow businesses to manage their connections, including calls, texts, e-mails, social network and business schedule, provided its services.
Direct inward dialing is a critical component in these types of VoIP communications. DID numbers are assigned to a communications gateway connected by a trunk to the public switched telephone network (PSTN) and the VoIP network. The gateway routes and translates calls between the two networks for the VoIP user. Calls originating in the VoIP network will appear to users on the PSTN as originating from one of the assigned DID numbers.
In one of the latest developments in VoIP communications segment, VoIP Innovations (News - Alert) has just released a new feature in the wholesale VoIP BackOffice, Titanium III, called My Clients. The new feature helps customers easily manage the data they need to operate their business on a daily basis in one, easy to use location.
My Clients follows the company’s launch of My DID Groups, My E911 Groups and My Endpoint Groups earlier this year. My Clients can organize these three groups into separate dashboards that offer their customers the vital metrics they need to run their business successfully. Without MyClients, customers will face difficulty as they will have to navigate back and forth between groups to get everything they need.
To Create a Client, customers need to simply choose DID Group, Endpoint Group or E911 Group which they want to assign to that specific client, and once that is done, a combined view of metrics for that specific client will be shown.
Customers can however assign only one group to one client. There can be no overlapping groups in clients. After the client set up is complete, metrics for DIDs, E911, Endpoints, Billing and Porting will be available. “Our My Clients has freed up a great deal of our wholesale VoIP customers time and energy,” said Jason Tapolci, president of VoIP Innovations, in a statement. “Instead of having information in multiple spots in the BackOffice, we’ve given our customers the ability to customize and aggregate the exact metrics they need in one place.”
