Office of the Commissioner of Lobbying Selects Telax Hosted Call Center Infrastructure

Telax Hosted Call Center, a Toronto, Canada-based provider of hosted call center solutions, announced it has been selected by the Office of the Commissioner of Lobbying as their provider to deliver an integrated and intelligent infrastructure.

The Office of the Commissioner of Lobbying is an independent Officer of Parliament that ensures the lobbying of public office holders is done according to the Lobbying Act. The Office of the Commissioner of Lobbying was looking for a technology that is flexible enough to align with its existing infrastructure.

“We are extremely well-positioned to deliver a solution that meets the requirements of the Office of the Commissioner of Lobbying,” said Telax President, Mario Perez, in a statement. “We have extensive experience working with governmental organizations and are excited to collaborate with another federal agency to deliver greater efficiency for everyone.”

Under the terms of the contract, Telax will provide a customizable and easily upgradeable Interactive Video Response (IVR) capable of providing skills-based routing, call recordings stored in a secure and accessible data center. The company will also offer the extensive call reporting service.

The Office of the Commissioner of Lobbying selected Telax considering its technology and extensive experience providing similar services to other organizations under the U.S. government. The company was also awarded a GSA (News - Alert) Schedule 70 contract.

Recently Telax enhanced its portfolio with the addition of three new services. The company will now offer Call Recording service for Metaswitch subscribers; Executive Dashboard for Telax Contact Center; and White Labeling for the Telax Contact Center Portal, according to a recent news report.
