Comverse, a subsidiary of Comverse Technology (News - Alert), Inc. and the world's leading supplier of software and systems enabling network-based multimedia enhanced communication and billing services, has selected the top ten finalists for its Second Annual Innovation Awards. Five winners will be announced at the Comverse 2007 User Forum that will take place on June 25 - 28 at Lake Como, Italy.
The ten finalists and their innovative solutions are:
--FASTWEB of Italy for SIP enhancing one of the largest European VoIP and triple play networks using MyCall Converged Communications
--France Telecom (News - Alert)/Orange for Telephony Plus, residential VoIP for LiveBox using MyCall Converged Communications
--Kyivstar, Ukraine for the youth acquisition campaign using Real-Time Billing Solutions
--Magyar Telekom, Hungary, for deploying an end-to-end IMS network
--Play, Poland, for the integration of Converged Billing and other Value-Added Services
--Reliance India for special tariff vouchers using Real-Time Billing Solutions
--Softbank Mobile of Japan for the Hybrid SMS Center Solution
--T-Mobile (News - Alert) Czech Republic for Multimedia Call Completion for non-voicemail users
--Telekom Serbia for the launch of SMS Personalization services
--Yunnan China Mobile (News - Alert) for an innovative deployment of the Total Call Completion Solution
The awards honor innovative service providers who have creatively implemented a Comverse solution to achieve significant business objectives. Examples of innovative implementations include creative segmentation and marketing, unique technical deployments, outstanding launching and business models and the achievement of significant cost savings. The awards program is organized in association with market research firm Yankee Group (News - Alert), in addition to other prominent figures in the telecom industry.
