TSG Global, a communications network provider, has formed a partnership with TextGen, a provider of customer management solutions that brings text messaging, Web, IVR and voice together on one platform, in order to deliver a carrier-grade application and communications network.

TextGen platform provides businesses with an innovative and affordable solution to address customer communication problems. The platform is both app and device independent and can be installed on any telecommunications system.

As traditional landlines shrink paving way to IP and mobile messaging, SMS text messaging offers a big opportunity for service providers. With this partnership, TSG Global and TextGen are responding to the growing demands for a powerful platform for text messaging. The alliance also builds on TSG Global’s continuing success in delivering VoIP and SMS text messaging services. FlexTalkSMS from TSG Global allows users to order, deploy and implement SMS texting in real-time. Additionally, the product is 70 percent less expensive when compared to the price of a short code, the company claims.

TextGen is developed by Noah Rafalko, president of TSG Global; Gary Pudles, founder and CEO of AnswerNet (News - Alert); and Thomas Howe, inventor of DSL connection.

“We are excited to be supporting such an exciting, revolutionizing company as TextGen,” said Rafalko. “Businesses now have a tool that is easily and quickly implemented to interact with their customers by tapping into the pre-formatted scripts already created by TextGen or by creating their own.  This is huge and as game changing for business communications as Facebook (News - Alert) had on social communications.”

TextGen uses a cloud-based service to integrate SMS capabilities into a pre-existing 10-digit landline number.  It boasts a series of automated Q&A scripts to deliver a text-enabled, conversational approach to customer communications. This helps businesses optimize operations by reducing costs, and improving accuracy with data collection.

The text messaging platform can be used in nearly any industry and can be used for a wide variety of customer service initiatives including order placements, membership activation, and product and event registration.
