Mu Dynamics, a provider of next-generation network testing IP services, announced it has been inducted to SC Magazine’s 2010 Security Innovators Hall of Fame.
The recognition was given for companies that have consistently brought innovative products to the market. Mu Dynamics (News - Alert) is one of the first to be honored with Innovators Hall of Fame.
Mu Dynamics also received SC Magazine’s Innovation Awards in 2008 for Mu-4000 Service Analyzer and again in 2009 for its Mu Test Suite. In 2010, Mu Dynamics added Mu Studio Scale to its Mu Test Suite.
Mu Studio Scale is the first solution to replicate customer usage scenarios for scale testing triple play services, feature-rich mobile applications, and cloud deployments.
SC Magazine referred Mu Studio Scale as the “straightforward way to address the increasing complexity of today’s enterprises. It simplifies testing even in the face of that increasing complexity.”
Mu Studio enables customers to test the security, functionality, and scalability of specific customer scenarios pre-deployment or assist with issue resolution post-deployment as well as new applications as soon as they become available without having to wait for vendor-supplied test cases. It also tests custom applications and services – including those containing proprietary elements.
“Recognition as a Hall of Fame Innovator by SC Magazine's experts highlights our role in ensuring service providers, federal entities and enterprises have secure and resilient networks,” said Dave Kresse (News - Alert), CEO at Mu Dynamics, in a statement.
“With the addition of Mu Studio Scale to our existing product line, customers can be rest assured that their products and services will be delivered successfully as they have already tested using actual service traffic – an industry first,” Kresse added.
Mu Dynamics’ testing solutions enable customers to meet the challenges of deploying services for the iGeneration. Unlike legacy testing tools, Mu transforms actual service interactions into test scenarios using their patent-pending Active Service Replication (ASR) technology, company officials said.
The company recently announced it is offering a testing solution to test IPv6 products and services, TMCnet reported.
Mu’s solution, according to the report, helps to simplify interoperability testing through intelligent automation and improves resilience and security of native IPv6 and transitional systems.
