Mu Dynamics, Inc., the leader in testing next-generation network and IP services, has announced the availability of pre-packaged IPv6 Ready Logo Test Content for the "IPv6 Ready Phase-1&2 Logo Program."

The free content is aimed at pre-testing hosts such as laptops, servers, PCs and routers and will help organizations to kick-start the testing required for the IPv6 Ready Logo Test Program.

"In addition to jump-starting their own IPv6 migration programs, the IPv6 Ready Logo Test Content enables our customers to perform pre-certification testing prior to engaging with formal certification labs like the University of New Hampshire InterOperability Lab," said Simon Berman, vice president of products for Mu Dynamics (News - Alert). "This content provides tens of thousands of stateful IPv6 test cases, including over 400 conformance and interoperability tests for the core IPv6 protocols supported by hosts and routers."

The Mu Test Suite for IPv6 already includes tools for testing the scalability, functionality, interoperability, security and resilience of services.  This test content focuses on compatibility testing for routers and hosts, such as laptops and PCs, the most common devices in a network

The IPv6 Forum manages the IPv6 Ready Logo Program, which is focused on conformance and interoperability testing. To achieve certification, a product must pass 100 percent of the appropriate conformance and interoperability tests. Mu Dynamic's partner, UNH-IOL, is the only lab in the U.S. approved to offer IPv6 Ready Logo certification. In addition, the UNH-IOL is accredited as a testing lab for the USGv6 Test Program and maintains the USGv6 Accredited Devices list.
