VoIP
phone system manufacturer IPitomy (News - Alert) recently announced availability of a new communications solution for small businesses, the IP 1000. This product contains all the features usually found in expensive telephone systems but at a much more affordable price.
Designed specifically for small businesses with 10 to 50 employees, the IP 1000 is an IP-PBX
with analog interfaces that can be connected to a VoIP service. It comes with Web-based administration for easily configuring functions like remote extensions, branch offices, and call forwarding.
Beyond the basics, IP
1000 provides advanced features like a conference bridge that supports up to 16 callers at once, unified messaging with more than 50 hours of voice storage accessible by twenty users simultaneously, and support for all SIP
phones including those manufactured by Cisco, Polycom (News - Alert) and Aastra (special package pricing available for Aastra IP phones).
When it comes time to scale beyond 50 employees, the IP 1000 can be connected to IPitomy’s IP 1500 box, which supports up to 150 users.
“The continued market penetration of Voice-over-IP (VoIP) and other IP communications applications, combined with the decline of traditional legacy phone systems has created a strong demand for IP1000, allowing small businesses to enjoy the benefits of an IP PBX (News - Alert) at a price that is comparable to a key system,” said Nick Branica, IPitomy founder and CEO, in a statement.
The IP 1000 VoIP phone system product is available now through IPitomy’s network of value-added resellers. To find out how you can get yours, go to www.ipitomy.com or call 941-306-2200.
