VanillaSoft Now Offers Autodialing Support for Covad Users

By Tim Gray, TMCnet Web Editor

VanillaSoft announced today that users of Covad's (News - Alert) VoIP telephone service can now autodial their existing IP phones from within the lead management application.

Because the autodialing support is based on Covad's universal click-to-call functionality any desk phone will be supported.

Leonard Sussenbach, vice president of Marketing at VanillaSoft, says the addition of autodialing support for one of the leading providers of business VoIP telephone service makes sense for both companies.

“Implementation is very easy, simply enter your Covad user name, password and phone number inside VanillaSoft and you're set," said Sussenbach.

The autodialing support on Covad will be available immediately.

The Texas-based VanillaSoft, the top lead management solution provider, offers autodialing and call recording support for more phone solutions than any other provider.
Sussenbach says the autodialing support is available for any major digital PBX, including Cisco, Avaya, Nortel, Mitel, Siemens (News - Alert), NEC and many others.

Support is also available for any analog phone system, softphones including X-Lite, EyeBeam, Skype, and the click-to-call mechanisms of specific VoIP providers including Vonage and Junction Networks (News - Alert).

The San Jose, Calif.-based Covad is a leading nationwide provider of integrated voice and data communications. The company offers DSL, Voice Over IP, T1, broadband wireless, Web hosting, managed security, IP and dial-up, and bundled voice and data services directly through Covad's network and through Internet Service Providers, value-added resellers, telecommunications carriers and affinity groups to small and medium-sized businesses and home users.

Covad broadband services are currently available across the nation in 44 states and 235 Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSAs) and can be purchased by more than 57 million homes and businesses, which represent over 50 percent of all US homes and businesses.
