NEI Continuing to Help Businesses Thrive in '09

In today’s uncertain economic state and an increasingly competitive marketplace, the need for operational efficiencies is vital. By increasing efficiencies it is possible to stay on top and continue to serve customers best.
To highlight the importance of increasing efficiencies, NEI recently hosted a Webinar event detailing their customer success story with Vircom, a provider of email security.
NEI is a company that offers application platforms, appliances and services for software developers, OEMs and service providers across the world so they can more effectively deploy, manage and support application platforms and appliances.
As part of the “Thrive in ‘09” series, the event looked at how NEI was able to help Vircom expand their product line while also increasing their operational efficiencies. The result – solutions that better matched their customer needs, and a much stronger foothold in the marketplace.
Vircom provides email security including technology to block image spam and predictive email content management.
Their solutions offer help to organizations that present high risk to their operations and shareholders.
Jean-Marc Robillard, director of product management for Vircom shared with attendees how they were able to select the right partner to deliver their email security solutions and how important it is to ensure all solutions fits customers' needs.
Just last week, NEI announced two new enterprise communications platforms based on the Intel (News - Alert) Xeon 5500 processor. The E 1800 R2 and E 2900 R2 are built for medium-density applications. They enable customers to create a wider variety of high-performance, low-power unified enterprise communications, call center and storage solutions. When coupled with NEI’s lifecycle management approach to handling equipment, these high-availability platforms will be able to maximize uptime and achieve a very low total cost of ownership.
