Rivermine’s (News - Alert) telecom expense management solution has recently won INTERNET TELEPHONY Magazine’s 2010 TEM Excellence Award for the second consecutive year, as announced by Emptoris, a provider of contract management solutions for the enterprise.

Rivermine 6, the latest solution from the telecom expense management company, gives enterprises greater visibility into all aspects of its telecom lifecycle. It automates order management, invoice processing, dispute management, and inventory management.

Winners were chosen based on qualified improvements in services and products offered by the contestant. The INTERNET TELEPHONY TEM Excellence Award gives credit to those businesses that support customer initiatives to improve cost management and increase overall business efficiency without raisings costs.

Earlier this month, Emptoris announced it had acquired Rivermine to expand Emptoris’ solution suite and add a portfolio of new Global 1000 companies to its customer base.
