A Louisville, Ky.-based telecom cost management firm was honored with an industry award, putting the firm among the top five percent its peers.
The Tellennium Group was given the 2009 Best of Business Award in the telecom expense management category by the Small Business Commerce Association. Tellennium helps enterprise-level organizations evaluate and implement technologies, auditing invoices, managing expenses and improve overall productivity and efficiency through its Integrated Telecom Management solutions.
“Receiving the Best Business Award for telecom expense management really underscores one key thing that makes Tellennium different – the quality of the beneficial relationships the company forms with every one of its clients. The award is based on customer surveys and puts Tellennium in the top five percent, which is no surprise to us,” Russ Maney (News - Alert), principal and co-founder of Xponential Group, a Louisville, Ky.-based technology procurement services company that represents Tellennium, told TMCNet in an interview. “In addition to the money Tellennium saves its clients, we consistently hear how professional Tellennium is and how easy they are to work with.”
Using consumer feedback, the SBCA identified companies that believes have demonstrated what makes businesses a vital part of the American economy. The selection committee chooses the award winners from nominees based on information taken from monthly surveys administered by the SBCA, a review of consumer rankings and other consumer reports.
According to Maney, whose firm recommends Tellennium, clients see on average a 28 percent expense reduction in their total telecom budgets.
“We’re honored to again be recognized as a leader in telecom expense management,” said Greg McIntyre, president of The Tellennium Group. “As we continue our growth, one of our main goals is maintaining that quality client relationship.”
