AOTMP, the authority on standards and best practices for telecom management, is hosting TEM 2008, an educational and networking event for telecom and IT end users next week in Orlando, Florida.
The event will provide all those responsible for selecting, reviewing, recommending and managing telecom services and technology with an inside look at the issues and challenges faced by enterprise end users as well as solutions for TEM strategy plans.
Also at the conference, AOTMP is offering five different Specialty Certification programs that will include 6 hours of training and an online certification exam in the areas of Technology Selection, Wireless Management, Inventory Development, Telecom Management Strategies, and Contract Negotiations.
Telecom certification can add tremendous value to an organization by helping them to keep up with the complex and fast moving industry.
"The certifications offer a great opportunity for people to invest in their career and leave the conference with a new skill set that can directly impact the value they deliver to their organization," said Tim Colwell, AOTMP Vice President of Knowledge Operations and conference co-chairperson.
"We're looking forward to another successful event this year," said Tim Lybrook, AOTMP President and CEO. "We have a great line up of session topics focused on the issues and challenges we hear most in working with enterprise end users and in our research projects."
Earlier this month, AOTMP announced the expansion of its research practice for telecom environment management by almost tripling the amount of research publications it produces for enterprise telecom and IT professionals by the year's end.
